The Shop
Members are invited to take advantage of some great bargains from The Shop @ The Shed, on the allotment site on Albany Road.
The Shop is open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 12pm, from the beginning of February until the end of October.
We sometimes have extra opening times over Bank Holiday weekends and in high summer. These times will be posted on the BWGC Facebook page and in BWGC member emails.
We sell a wide range of gardening products at discounted prices, including:
- compost and soil improvers
- manure by the wheelbarrow load
- gardening tools and accessories
- fertilisers, weedkiller and pesticides
- weed-suppressing membrane
- stakes, netting and fleece
At the appropriate times of year there are seed potatoes and onion, garlic and shallot sets.
Lawnmowers and strimmers are available for BWGC members to use (free of charge) to help keep allotment plots and the surrounding paths tidy.
There are complimentary hot drinks and biscuits, and volunteers are always on hand to help answer any gardening questions or queries.
