Annual Plant Sale

 

​Each year, we hold our popular plant sale at The Allotment Shed on Albany Road. This helps to raise charity club funds and offer everyone the chance to buy quality plants at great prices. 

 

We invite you to join us for tea, coffee, and a selection of delicious home-made cakes. Everyone is welcome.

 

 

​2026 Sale Details

​Date: Saturday 9th May

 

​Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

 

​Location: The Shed at the Albany Road Allotments, Bishops Waltham

 

​Donations

 

​If you have plants or cakes to contribute, your donations are greatly appreciated.

 

Plants should be dropped off at The Shed between 5pm - 7pm on Friday 8th May, to allow time for them to be set out and priced before opening on Saturday.

 

Cakes can be dropped off at the Shed between 5pm - 7pm on Friday 8th May (MUST be in an airtight tin or plastic container with secure lid, and not need refrigeration), or between 9am - 10am on Saturday 9th May. 

 

​Parking & Access

 

​As parking near The Shed is quite limited, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:

 

​BWGC Club Members: To leave space on Albany Road for our visitors, please park on the allotment site. Drive down the narrow road toward the Cricket Ground, turn into Track 1, and park at the end. You can then drive out via Track 2.

 

​Visitors: You may also find it convenient to park at Priory Park car park and enjoy the short walk down to the allotments.

 

​Drop-off: The space immediately in front of The Shed is reserved for quick pick-ups and drop-offs only. 

 

​A Note for Allotment Holders

​Please note that mowers will not be available for use on Sale Day (Saturday). To make up for this, mowers will be available on Friday 8th May from 5pm to 7pm, and on Sunday when the Shed shop opens as usual. 10am - 12pm.
